About The School

Capitol Heights Facts

Capitol Heights Junior High School offers a range of academic and extracurricular options to students. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies and language arts. The school conducts classes in music, art, band and physical education. It operates a media center that features a collection of books and instructional materials. Capitol Heights Junior High School provides food and health services. It is a part of Montgomery Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in Alabama. The school system serves more than 30,000 students. Its schools operate parent-teacher-student associations that conduct several fundraising events and programs. The system s schools administer Title I, sports and special education programs.
